Wauchope boy Peter Kennedy played in PNG before settling in Perth, and eventually coaching Willagee to an historic minor premiership in 1984.

A Willagee legend, Peter Murphy played for the club from 1962 until 1973, before becoming club president in 1975.

Reg Fisher played for South Perth from 1956 until 1969 before becoming president in 1973 and again in 1980-82.
