Alec Lockley was a local junior for the Fremantle Rugby League football club and at aged 17 debut for first grade.
Brian Draffen was a local junior for Applecross Club. Brian played in the 1958 Intermediates Undefeated Premiership side.

John was an Australian former triple jumper who competed in the 1960 Rome Summer Olympics. He won a silver medal.

Not very often does Western Australia get a local junior player playing in a winning World Cup Final team. Kennedy achieved this in 2022 and scored two tries in Australia’s win over New Zealand at Old Trafford.
Played for Cottesloe for 14 years from 1960 -1973 commencing at age 15 years & excelled in the Surf club winning many awards.
Kevin has served as a President of the Fremantle club and like his father, also served on the WARL as a board member and was chairman in 1999
There was a King Brother in an Applecross team from 1963 -1987 – an outstanding effort of 24 years. Played over 1000 games.

Mick was a long-term volunteer for the South Perth Lions and a board member of the WARL. He played over 100 first grade games for South Perth.
Mick Hunt was the state captain in 1965 when the West Australian State team played against the mighty St George Dragons .

Paul’s debut for the senior men’s Western Australia side was in 1991 against the NSWRL side Illawarra Steelers at fullback
Pete captained the first grade side in 1975 and in 1976. Played for the WA State team in 1982 against Darwin & BARL.
Peter represented Western Australia in the State Juniors from 1967 playing against Clovelly and Marist Brothers who were touring from NSW and captaining the state juniors in 1972 & 1975.
Peter is Shark # 7 and in 2023 was the first player to play 150 first grade games for the Rockingham Coastal Sharks. Peter is a Hall of Fame player at the Sharks which is awarded only every 5 years.
Played for Scarborough Pirates club in 1962 . Selected to play for WA against Western Suburbs in 1963.
Rays consistent defence at second row or lock made him a well-respected player by all opposition sides. He played well over 200 senior first grade games for Fremantle.
Played in three winning grand finals – 1971 Applecross. 1974 -South Perth and 1980- replay victory over Mosman Cottesloe 18-10.
Ross White played over 100 first grade games for Fremantle and is a Life Member of the Fremantle Club. In 2009 he was inducted into the WARL Past Players Hall of Fame.
It’s not very often that a WA raised player gets to play in a senior men’s World Cup Final but Royce Hunt achieved this in 2022. Royce Hunt commenced playing rugby league for the Kalgoorlie Titans in the under 7s.

Played 1st grade and State, was a very successful Junior Coach, coached WA Colts, and coached Fremantle under 18’s to premiership.
Shanice Parker, a talented centre, comes from a large and well respected Rugby League family which have all been great volunteers and players for the Willagee Bears Rugby League Club
Stewart was a player from juniors at Raphael Park in the 1950’s to the “thirsty thirds” in 1972 & President of the Vic Park Club.
Had an amazing run of Grand finals from 1965 -1972 where he featured in 8 Grand Finals in a row and took out a premiership medal 6 times.
Terry was awarded the 8th Life membership of the Rockingham Rugby after his many years of service. He was very well-respected volunteer for the Western Australia and Rockingham Rugby League. Off the field he supported the SES and St Johns Ambulance
In the 1969 Grand Final Wayne Jarman won the prestigious Ron Hudson medal for the best on the ground. Rep for WA at SCG against NT .
