1929-1947

Although not extensively played in WA in that period, many British touring teams made Fremantle their first port of call on their way to the Eastern States. The first documented game of Rugby League in WA was in 1946 at Fremantle Oval involving the 1946 Great Britain Touring Team. For more information visit "Early History" on this website.
